Coats for Kids Campaign
You can help keep Grande Prairie warm each winter. Donate your gently-used winter-wear to Coats for Kids. Drop off your jackets, pants, snowsuits, mitts & toques at Crouse’s Cleaners. Donations will be accepted September 15 to October 15, Monday to Saturday 6am-6pm. Children are the focus of the program, but items will be accepted in all sizes. Materials must be washable (thanks, but we cannot accept boots, leather, suede, or wool).
Donations are cleaned & redistributed free of charge to those in need throughout the month of October.
The Coats for Kids distribution centre will be open October 1st to 31st, from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Saturday (closed Thanksgiving Monday). The distribution centre for 2018 can be found at the Canopy West Building at 11308-100 Street. This building is across the street from the Northside Safeway. There is a bus stop directly outside of the building too. If you or a family member are in need of a coat or winter wear for this winter you are welcome to go to the distribution centre.
